The goal of the thesis is to describe the approaches used for the regulation of the continuous supply of electric power in the selected countries of European Union and to determine the power outages costs in the specific distribution network, resulting from non-observance of the customer standards used in Great Britain, Sweden and Finland. The costs have been calculated for the entire network, as well as for the individual outputs. The thesis carries out the sensitivity analysis of the power outages costs, resulting from the breaching the supply restoration standards and the multiple interruptions standard used in the Great Britain. The costs of the individual limits are shown in the tables and the graphs. The comparison of the individual outputs according to the height of the penalty costs have been carried out on the selected set of limits. The comparison of the order of the individual outputs is then carried out for the customer standards used in Great Britain, Sweden and Finland.

The Foreign Policy of Sweden and Finland in Relation to the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation: The Analysis from the Perspective of Neoclassical Realism
Hložková, Veronika ; Kučera, Tomáš (advisor) ; Karásek, Tomáš (referee)
The following thesis maps the development of the attitude of Sweden and Finland towards membership in the North Atlantic Treaty Organization from the end of the Cold War to their decision to join the Alliance in 2022. The first aim is to identify the factors that led to the refusal of both countries to join NATO and instead to the preference for close cooperation. Subsequently, these factors are monitored over time to capture their transformation after the start of the Russian military invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. Neoclassical realism is used as the theoretical and analytical framework, which combines independent variables at the level of the international system with intervening variables at the level of a state. The effects of these variables form a specific reaction of foreign policy - the dependent variable - in this case, the Swedish and Finnish decision to join NATO.

RAUL BERTOLDINI MASTER'S THESIS ABSTRACT 08/2023 NORTHERN EUROPE AND THE LOOMING RUSSIA: IS EUROPE (NOT) ENOUGH? Different approaches to a European integrated defence: the cases of Norway and Finland This master's thesis investigates Finland and Norway's geopolitical landscape and security strategies amid Europe's evolving security environment. The research scrutinises how these Nordic nations have managed their relations with the European Union (EU), North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO), and Russia, set against the backdrop of the Russian invasion of Ukraine and escalating tensions in the Arctic region. The study illustrates how the Ukraine conflict prompted strategic realignments, with both Finland and Norway opting for closer ties with the EU and NATO to protect their sovereignty, yet they perceive the security guarantees offered by these two organisations differently. Product Creation in Tourism
OPAVOVÁ, Karolína
The main aim of this diploma thesis was to prepare a tourism product for Czech clients in Finland and present this destination as an attractive area for tourism. Suggested results were based on a public survey and an interview with travel agencies from the Czech Republic. The theoretical part contains literary research where the basic terms of this subject were introduced. The practical part was compiled through an interview and a questionnaire survey. This part was focused on the evaluation of the perception of Finland as a tourist destination and the determination of criteria by which the tourism services are chosen. The results of the research were the basis for formulating proposals and recommendations. It turned out that the share of tours to Finland in the total market of all Czech travel agencies is relatively small and it is a very atypical choice of holiday. The reasons for the lower number of tours to this Nordic destination are the distance, relatively harsh climate, and the higher price level. However, Finland as a country offers a lot of attributes that allow the creation of specific packages and a large number of travel agencies point to the increasing interest of Czech clients in this destination. The proposed tour was created in cooperation with the Finnish travel agency Nordic Unique Travels. The program, length, intensity, type of transport and accommodation were adapted to the requirements and needs of potential customers based on the results of the questionnaire survey. The main idea of this tour is to introduce Finnish culture, customs and thoroughly get to know the area of Lapland and its natural beauty.
